Privacy Policy

Last updated 23 August 2026

This policy covers this website. It explains what we collect when you use it, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Work we do for clients is governed by the agreement signed for that engagement, not by this page.

What we collect

  • What you send us. When you submit the enquiry form we store the name, email, phone number, company and message you provide.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information — IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp — for security and reliability.
  • Staff sessions. If you sign in to our content management system, a single cookie (iy_session) keeps you signed in. It holds a random token, not your details.

We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site, and we do not use cookies for anything other than the staff sign-in described above.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to discuss and deliver the work. Logs exist to keep the site available and to investigate abuse. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for marketing.

Who processes it

  • Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery for this site.
  • MongoDB Atlas — the database where enquiries are stored.
  • Google Fonts — the typeface on this site is requested from Google's servers, which means your browser's IP address reaches Google when a page loads.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while they are commercially relevant and then deleted, normally within 24 months. Sign-in sessions expire after 7 days. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider according to their own retention schedule.

Your choices

Write to hello@infoyantra.com to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will action deletion requests unless we are required to keep something for legal or accounting reasons, and we will tell you if that is the case.

Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored in a managed database with access limited to the people who need it. Administrator passwords are stored as salted hashes, never in readable form. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat anything you send us as confidential.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
